– New PeopleSoft Support Portal All PeopleSoft customers need to prepare for the upcoming changes
that Oracle is making to Customer Connection – The PeopleSoft Support Portal
that we all know and love. Oracle
is moving all PeopleSoft customers to a new Support Portal in late 2008
(current target is November). As a
PeopleSoft customer, you will need to learn the new portal along with new
support processes. There is also
a new Support Tool that is not currently available within today’s Customer
Connection. The SNUG is excited to feature
Oracle’s Tom Wright to demo the new system, discuss the transition
schedule and address your questions and concerns.
If you are involved with (or plan to be involved with) administering,
implementing, planning, evaluating, approving or maintaining PeopleSoft
Enterprise applications, then this is a "must-do" SNUG event!
This
session will provide an overview of year-end 1099 processing in PeopleSoft
Payables. We will focus on enhancements to streamline processes and
reporting, as well as practices to simplify the annual reporting process.
We will also address changes to be delivered in the 1099 update for 2008.

Mark your calendars for COLLABORATE 07 - The biggest Technology and Applications Conference for the PeopleSoft/JD Edwards/Oracle Community - to be held April 15-19th 2007 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Register through Quest International Users Group at www.questdirect.org. ********* The SNUG 's huge Fall 2006 event held November 3rd in Farmington, Connecticut was a resounding success! The event was extremely well attended with 200 customers and partners representing over 65 firms taking part in the activities. Attendees enjoyed Peter Mulvagh's ever-popular Payroll Year-End Process and Tax Overview as well as many other informative and topical presentations. There was lots of interesting and interactive discussion between customers, partners and Oracle's representatives. A special thanks to Oracle's Bill Vellante and Fred Vona for delivering a multi-faceted keynote and answering all our questions during Q&A. The SNUG hopes to see all the attendees come back to participate in our Fall 2007 event. ********* The SNUG 's huge Spring 2006 event held June 16th at The Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Cromwell, CT was a resounding success! The event was extremely well attended with 200 customers and partners from over 100 firms taking part in the activities. Attendees enjoyed an excellent in-depth overview of Oracle's Applications Unlimited from Oracle Senior Director Fred Vona. Mr. Vona also presented up-to-the-minute information on Project Fusion: the architecture, direction and how PS and JDE customers can expect to benefit - in both the near term and in the future. There was lots of interesting and interactive discussion between customers, partners and Oracle's representatives. The SNUG hopes to see all the attendees come back to participate in our Fall 2006 event. ********* The SNUG held it's Fall 2005 event on November 11th at the famous Foxwoods Resort and Conference Center in Ledyard, CT.
